Dear colleagues,
One hundred years have passed since one of the Serbian greatest and most respected scientists, Prof. Dr. Ivan Djaja. (Jean Giaja) laid the foundations for the development of Experimental Physiology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, the first not only in Serbia but also in the Balkans. This year we are celebrating the anniversary with the best gift possible, gathering the outstanding scientists from Serbia and various countries all over the world. The plenary lectures, keynote talks, oral and poster sessions will be presented at the Symposium. Young scientists are especially encouraged to present their recent scientific results and findings.
Belgrade, the Serbian capital, is a modern, lively, vibrant city with historic, cultural and modern background; it is the city you will enjoy visiting. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I cordially welcome you and wish you a pleasant stay in Belgrade.
